A comprehensive framework for predicting electric vehicle's participation in ancillary service markets

open access: yesIET Smart Grid, Volume 7, Issue 5, Page 610-627, October 2024.
A machine learning‐based model is developed from an electric vehicle (EV) aggregator point of view. The primary objective is to predict the yearly involvement of EVs through data of only a single week. The EV aggregator could use this method to select EVs with high potential for participation in the market.

Adaptive fuzzy energy management strategy for range‐extended electric vehicles integrated with deep learning

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 12, Issue 5, Page 2164-2179, May 2024.
In this paper, an adaptive energy management strategy for range‐extended electric vehicles is presented, integrating a GWO‐LSTM model for condition recognition with a fuzzy controller for optimized energy distribution across urban, suburban, and high‐speed driving conditions.

Weak lensing study of 16 DAFT/FADA clusters: substructures and filaments [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
While our current cosmological model places galaxy clusters at the nodes of a filament network (the cosmic web), we still struggle to detect these filaments at high redshifts.

Autonomous Energy Management Strategy in the Intermediate Circuit of an Electric Hybrid Drive with a Supercapacitor

open access: yesIET Electrical Systems in Transportation, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
Hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) require the design of an energy management strategy (EMS). Many EMS are solved using different types of deterministic rules (rule‐based (RB)) or optimization‐based (OB) methods. The disadvantage of these strategies is that the primary energy flows in the drive are only solved “ex post,” when in principle, they cannot ...
