DNA strands are employed both as dynamic linkers and nanoscale templates for the integration of Ag2S nanoparticles on MoS2, which in turn imparted photothermal responsiveness; this feature permits the selective cargo (fluorophore, quantum dots or an enzyme) release from the MoS2 surface in response to local heat induced by light irradiation.

Effect of Supercritical CO2 Drying on Moisture Transfer and Wood Property of Eucalyptus urophydis
Wood dried using supercritical CO2 has unique properties because water is removed directly from the cell lumens through the cycling between supercritical and gas phases.

Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Machine Learning‐Assisted Inverse Design of Soft and Multifunctional Hybrid Liquid Metal Composites
A machine learning framework is presented for inverse design of synthesizable multifunctional composites containing both liquid metal and solid inclusions. By integrating physics‐based modeling, data‐driven prediction, and Bayesian optimization, the approach enables intelligent design of experiments to identify optimal compositions and realize these ...

MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF WOOD DRYING PROCESS
This work focuses on the development of mathematical models describing moisture movement in wood, when the wood is considered as porous medium. Main moisture transport mechanisms are discussed. It is shown how the wood can be described as a two‐ or three‐phase system.

A microwave applicator for on line wood drying : Temperature and moisture distribution in wood
An especially designed open microwave applicator was analysed using wood as the material to be heated and dried. The idea was to develop an on line microwave construction consisting of several small open applicators, each fed by a small standard ...
