Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Rapid bacterial counts in metal working fluids
Journal of Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology, 2002 A rapid (10 s) automated fluorescent method to estimate viable bacteria in metal working fluids (MWF) was compared with dip-slide cultures. The BactiFluor method compared favorably with 107 MWF (r=0.99) and with 30 other metal processing fluids.

Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil.
