Unusual Familial Presentation of Epsilon-Sarcoglycan Gene Mutation with Falls and Writer's Cramp
Inherited myoclonus dystonia (M-D, DYTH) is an autosomal dominant dystonia-plus syndrome, which in many families is caused by mutations in the SGCE/tepsilon-sarcoglycan gene.

A patient‐specific, imaging‐guided aid enables precise and reproducible drug delivery to the inner ear. By guiding therapeutic agents directly to the round window niche, this approach reduces variability in drug localization, improves delivery safety, and addresses a critical bottleneck in inner ear therapy, offering a scalable strategy for precision ...

Treatment of writer's cramp with sodium valproate and baclofen
Treatment of a 27-year-old Black man with writer's cramp with a combin'ation of sodium valproate (Epilim) and baclofen (Lioresal) resulted in dramatic improvement of symptoms and signs. The possible mechanism of action of these drugs is discussed.

Mono‐ and bilayer MoS2 photodetectors enable wavelength‐selective AC photoresponse and optically driven capacitance modulation under visible illumination. Green excitation produces the strongest cumulative capacitive response, consistent with trap‐mediated charge accumulation at mono/bilayer and metal–MoS2 interfaces.

The PBTN targets GRP78 and, upon X‐ray irradiation, generates ONOO− to induce immunogenic cell death, thereby activating CD8+ T cells and establishing a systemic antitumor immune response. ABSTRACT Nitric oxide (NO) treated radioresistant tumors by relieving hypoxia and blocking DNA repair, but its nonselective toxicity has precluded therapeutic use ...

ABSTRACT Mast cells (MCs), key innate immune sentinels at the host–environment interface, serve as primary responders to invading pathogens. However, their specific contribution to host defense against cutaneous Candida albicans (C. albicans) infection and their synergy with other immune and non‐immune cells remain poorly understood. Here, we show that
