Unravelling the Atomic Structure of a Metal‐Covalent Organic Framework Assembled from Ruthenium Metalloligands

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 13, April 2, 2025.
Metal‐covalent organic frameworks (MCOFs) are novel porous materials that exhibit the advantages of covalent and metal‐organic frameworks. However, it is extremely difficult to resolve their atomic structure and better understand their structure‐properties relation. This work utilizes a synergistic combination of advanced microscopy, spectroscopic, and

Single‐Crystal Organic Field‐Effect Transistors Based on 5,15‐Bisaryl‐Tetrabenzoporphyrins: Synthesis, Structure, and Charge Transport Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study explores single‐crystal organic field‐effect transistors (SC‐OFETs) based on 5,15‐bisaryl‐tetrabenzoporphyrin derivatives. It highlights the impact of meso‐substituted groups on molecular packing and charge transport. Among the derivatives, C8Ph‐BP achieves the highest hole mobility (1.64 cm2 V−¹ s−¹) due to enhanced π‐stacking with ...

The modular synthesis of rare earth-transition metal heterobimetallic complexes utilizing a redox-active ligand [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
We report a robust and modular synthetic route to heterometallic rare earth-transition metal complexes. We have used the redox-active bridging ligand 1,10-phenathroline-5,6-dione (pd), which has selective N,N′ or O,O′ binding sites as the template for ...

Jahn–Teller effects in Au25(SR)18† †Electronic supplementary information (ESI) available: The supplemental information contains additional details about the syntheses and characterization of these compounds. It includes SQUID magnetometry, electrochemical methods, X-ray crystallography information,

open access: yesChemical Science, 2015
Jahn–Teller distortions are observed in Au25(SR)18 by single crystal X-ray crystallography. SQUID magnetometry, DFT theory, and linear optical spectroscopy corroborate the finding.
