Systemic Therapy in Patients With Metastatic Xp11.2 Translocation Renal Cell Carcinoma

Clinical Genitourinary Cancer, 2022
Xp11.2 translocation renal cell carcinoma (Xp11.2 tRCC) is a unique subtype with poor prognosis, its response to systemic therapy is not fully understood, we evaluated the benefit of systemic therapy in these patients.Between May 2006 and December 2019, patients diagnosed with Xp11.2 tRCC from Peking university cancer hospital were collected.

Xp11.2 Translocation Renal Cell Carcinomas Have a Poorer Prognosis Than Non-Xp11.2 Translocation Carcinomas in Children and Young Adults: A Meta-analysis

International Journal of Surgical Pathology, 2010
Objectives. Renal cell carcinomas (RCCs) in children and adolescents are much rarer than in adults. In this age group, Xp11.2 translocation RCCs were the most common subtype of pediatric RCCs. Information regarding the clinical behavior of pediatric RCCs remains controversial because of their relatively rare incidence.

Renal Cell Carcinoma Associated With Xp11.2 Translocations, Report of a Case

Urology, 2010
Renal cell carcinomas (RCCs) associated with Xp11.2 translocations (Xp11.2 translocation RCCs) are rare and occur predominantly in children and adolescents. A case of such tumor in a 12-year boy is reported. Grossly the cut surface of the ill-defined mass was polychromatic, containing areas of hemorrhage and necrosis.

Molecular cloning of a SALL1-related pseudogene and mapping to chromosome Xp11.2

Cytogenetic and Genome Research, 1999
SALL1 and SALL2 have been identified as two human homologs of the region-specific homeotic gene spalt (sal) of Drosophila, which encodes a zinc finger protein of characteristic structure. SALL1 has recently been found to be mutated in patients with Townes-Brocks syndrome (TBS, OMIM No. 107480).

Radiologic–pathologic correlation of renal cell carcinoma associated with Xp11.2 translocation

Acta Radiologica, 2013
Background The prognosis of translocation RCCs in adult patients is relatively poor compared to that of other subtypes of RCCs. Although there have been several reports regarding radiologic findings of translocation RCC, studies with histologic correlation could help to understand the imaging features.

Renal Cell Carcinoma with Xp11.2 Translocation in a 7-Year-Old Boy

Klinische Pädiatrie, 2010
More than 90% of pediatric renal tumors are nephroblastomas while renal cell carcinomas (RCC) are rare in children (< 5%).According to the clinical diagnoses of a nephroblastoma stage IV a 7-year-old boy with a kidney tumor and peripheral pulmonary lesion was preoperatively treated for 8 weeks with Vincristine, Actinomycin D and Adriamycin.

Renal carcinomas associated with Xp11.2 translocations: Are CT findings suggestive of the diagnosis?

Clinical Radiology, 2014
The purpose of the present study was to summarize the computed tomography (CT) features of renal carcinomas associated with Xp11.2 translocations, and determine whether the diagnosis can be reliably deduced from imaging findings.Radiological studies of six patients (aged from 9-29 years) with renal carcinoma associated with Xp11.2 translocations were ...

[A case of xp11.2 translocation renal cell carcinoma].

Hinyokika kiyo. Acta urologica Japonica, 2011
Xp11.2/TFE3 translocation renal cell carcinoma (RCC), a recently classified distinct subtype, is a rare tumor that usually affects children and adolescents. The morphology and biological behavior are not widely recognized, Xp11.2 translocation RCC is suggestive of early metastases despite the small tumor size.

Pediatric Renal Cell Carcinomas with Xp11.2 Rearrangements are Immunoreactive for hMLH1 and hMSH2 Proteins

Pediatric and Developmental Pathology, 2005
Alveolar soft part sarcoma and pediatric renal cell carcinoma share a similar chromosomal abnormality, t(X;17)(p11.2;q25). Recently, it has been suggested that the inactivation of DNA mismatch repair genes hMLH1 and hMSH2 may play an additional role in the pathogenesis of alveolar soft part sarcoma. Immunohistochemical expression of the proteins hMLH1

Genetic Mapping in the Xp11.2 Region of a New Form of X-Linked Hypophosphatemic Rickets

European Journal of Human Genetics, 1993
Human X-linked dominant hypophosphatemic rickets (HPDR I) is characterized by hypophosphatemia, hyperphosphaturia, abnormal vitamin D metabolism, and rickets/osteomalacia. Two closely linked hypophosphatemic genes, hypophosphatemia (Hyp) and Gyro (Gy), are known on the mouse X chromosome.
