[Research advances in Xp11.2 translocation renal cell carcinoma].

Xp11.2 translocation renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is a newly identified category of RCC described in the 2004 WHO Classification of Kidney Tumors. Although the incidence is very rare, it accounts about one third of pediatric RCCs. It is different from other RCCs in clinical manifestations, histopathologic features, biological behaviour and prognosis.
