DISSOLVING PULP PRODUCTION FROM BAMBOO

open access: yesBioResources, 2011
Commercial bamboo chips were evaluated as raw material for dissolving pulp production. The chips were auto-hydrolyzed (AH) and subsequently cooked by the NaOH/AQ process and bleached to full brightness with the O-CCE-D-(EP)-D-P sequence.

Partial Purifi cation, Stability Analysis, and Preservation of Xylanase from Xylanolytic Alkalophylic Bacteria

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Biotechnology, 2015
A xylanase, which produces xylose from oat spelt xylans, was isolated from the culture medium of  xylanolytic alkalophylic bacteria mutant. The enzyme was purifi ed by ammonium sulphate with level 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, and 90%.

CLONING, EXPRESSION, AND CHARACTERIZATION OF AN ALKALOPHILLIC ENDO-1,4-BETA-XYLANASE FROM PAENIBACILLUS SP. HPL-002

open access: yesBioResources, 2011
The biochemical properties of a purified enzyme of a new alkalophillic endo-1,4-beta-xylanase gene, KRICT PX2 (GU967374), which was isolated from Paenibacillus sp. HPL-002 (KCTC11410BP) and expressed in E. coli, were investigated.
