Modulation of Aging Diseases via RAGE Targets: A Dietary Intervention Review

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 38, October 13, 2025.
This paper analyzes RAGE ligand‐binding mechanisms and signaling, proposing intervention strategies targeting these interactions. It emphasizes dietary polyphenols, polysaccharides, and terpenoids delivered via functional foods for anti‐aging. These compounds offer long‐term, safe intervention through dietary supplementation, providing dual nutritional

Lactobacillus reuteri‐mediated dietary xylooligosaccharides enhance jejunal cell survival via suppression of oxygen‐dependent apoptotic processes in a pig model

open access: yesiMeta, Volume 4, Issue 5, October 2025.
Interactions between functional oligosaccharides and small intestinal cells are increasingly recognized as critical for maintaining intestinal health. Using xylooligosaccharides (XOS) as a model, we demonstrate that XOS promote growth in piglets primarily by enhancing nutrient transport and increasing villus height in the jejunum.

Advancements and Challenges in Salivary Metabolomics for Early Detection and Monitoring of Systemic Diseases

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 6, Issue 10, October 2025.
Salivary metabolomics offers a noninvasive and effective approach for early disease detection and monitoring. Salivary metabolites reflect systemic metabolism, inflammation, and external factors such as diet and stress. Advance in bioinformatics and machine learning facilitates the identification of metabolic biomarkers with high diagnostic accuracy ...
