目的 丸編機は他の繊維機械と同様に歴史が長く完成度の高い機械である.しかし, 編機の給糸張力と糸速を積極的に制御するという試みはあまりなされていない.本報では給糸張力と糸速を同時に制御するための基礎的な技術を明らかにする.成果 編機の給糸張力と糸速が干渉を起こしていることを定量的に明らかにし, 非干渉制御等の手法を用いることで制御可能とした.これによって, 試行錯誤で行っていた給糸張力と糸速の設定を自動に行えるように, さらには, 系の経時変化, 糸種の変化による系のパラメーターの変化等に自動で対応でき, 編地の品質を安定させる技術を提案することができた.

研究目的本研究は紡織各工程における糸シートまたは織布等の大きな張力を正確かつ合理的に観測できるようにするため, 新しい“Strain gauge”の原理と鋼製リングの弾性ひずみとを組合せた張力変換器を試作する目的で行ったものである.研究結果(1) 強大な張力の急激な変化を忠実に観測できるとともに, リングの材質と形状を適宜選べば常時使用しても十分耐久力があることが認められた.(2) 装置自体を加工機械の固有部品として取扱えるので, 糸シートまたは織布の加工状態になんらの変化をも与えないことが認められた.(3) リングの材質と形状を適宜選べば, あらゆる力の受感部として使用できる新しい測定法としての実用性のあることが認められた.
