Direct Quantification of Protein–Protein Interactions in Living Bacterial Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Quantitative measurement of protein–protein interactions in living cells is vital for biotechnology applications. Fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) signals in bacterial cells are often weak, leading to false‐positive. Quantitative FRET measurements are implemented to overcome the weak FRET signal.

Hierarchical Regulatory Networks Reveal Conserved Drivers of Plant Drought Response at the Cell‐Type Level

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a comprehensive multi‐omics framework to uncover cell‐type‐specific regulatory networks in plant drought responses. By integrating transcriptomic, proteomic, and epigenetic data from nearly 30 000 samples, key regulators such as CIPK23 and NLP7 are identified, revealing insights into conserved drought tolerance mechanisms and ...

Mannose‐Glycated Metal‐Phenolic Microcapsules Orchestrate Phenotype Switch of Macrophages for Boosting Tumor Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Immunomodulatory metal‐phenolic microcapsules (mMPMs) is developed in this study that leverages dopamine‐modified hyaluronic acid and FeIII assemble on mannose‐glycated bovine serum albumin microbubbles. mMPMs effectively promote macrophage internalization and M1 polarization, enhancing pro‐inflammatory responses.

The Hypoxia‐Associated High‐Risk Cell Subpopulation Distinctly Enhances the Progression of Glioma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study suggests the potential roles of a novel hypoxia‐associated CDC20+KIF20A+PTTG1+ cell subpopulation in glioma progression. This high‐risk glioma cell subpopulation is therapeutically vulnerable to glioma progression and may play important roles in glioma standard‐of‐care therapeutic resistance.

Ocorrência de onicomicose em Maringá, Estado do Paraná, Brasil = Occurrence of the onychomycosis in Maringá, Paraná State, Brazil

open access: yesActa Scientiarum. Health Sciences, 2005

MTCH2 Suppresses Thermogenesis by Regulating Autophagy in Adipose Tissue

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that MTCH2 acts as an evolutionarily conserved regulator of energy homeostasis across Drosophila, rodents, and humans. Adipose‐specific MTCH2 ablation enhances brown/beige adipose thermogenesis through Bcl‐2‐dependent autophagy, promoting energy expenditure and counteracting obesity‐associated metabolic disorders. These findings

Neophytadiene, a Plant Specialized Metabolite, Mediates the Virus‐Vector‐Plant Tripartite Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tomato chlorosis virus (ToCV) infection induces production of neophytadiene, a volatile resulting from chlorophyll degradation that is highly attractive to whiteflies. OBP2, an odorant‐binding protein from insect vector B. tabaci, exhibits a strong binding affinity for neophytadiene.

Production, characterization and application of inulinase from fungal endophyte CCMB 328

open access: yesAnais da Academia Brasileira de Ciências, 2012
Inulinase (β-2,1-D- fructan fructanohydrolase), EC 3.2.1.7, targets the β-2,1 linkage of inulin, a polyfructan consisting of linear β-2,1 linked fructose, and hydrolyzes it into fructose.
