A universal and versatile zwitterion coating strategy is developed for blood‐contacting catheters with long lengths and complex geometries. The coating exhibits near‐zero fouling, superior anticoagulation, and selective biocapturing properties while maintaining excellent stability under dynamic blood flow.

Engineering Yeast Cells to Facilitate Information Exchange [PDF]
Although continuous advances in theoretical modelling of Molecular Communications (MC) are observed, there is still an insuperable gap between theory and experimental testbeds, especially at the microscale. In this paper, the development of the first testbed incorporating engineered yeast cells is reported.

Oxidative Rearrangements of the Alkaloid Intermediate Geissoschizine
19E‐geissoschizine is a key precursor in the biosynthesis of monoterpene indole alkaloids such as strychnine, ibogaine, and vinblastine. Using enzymatic assays and gene silencing, three CYPs were identified from C. roseus that oxidize this compound to four alkaloid scaffolds: strychnos, sarpagan, akuammiline, and mavacurane. Mutational analysis reveals
