Protective Effect of Epigallocatechin‐3‐Gallate Against Fructose‐Induced Metabolic Associated Fatty Liver Disease in Mice by Regulating Ferroptosis and Autophagy via SIRT5

open access: yesPhytotherapy Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Metabolic dysfunction‐associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) lacks effective pharmacological therapies and is strongly associated with excessive fructose consumption. Ferroptosis and autophagy dysregulation are increasingly recognized as key drivers of MAFLD progression.

Rounded Monodisperse Fluorescent Nanodiamonds

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Nanodiamond (ND) shape control using rapid molten‐nitrate etching is studied as a scale‐up method for monodispersed rounded particles. Optimal etching condition (567°C for 6 min) yields NDs with atomically stepped surfaces and reduced sp2 content. Compared to angular control, rounded NDs exhibit an increased proportion of luminescent particles (66% vs.

Binder Design in Extrusion‐Based 3D Printing of Electrodes: Enhancing Printability and Electrochemical Performance in Energy Storage Devices

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Binder design plays a pivotal role in extrusion‐based 3D printing of energy storage electrodes by simultaneously governing ink printability and electrochemical performance. This review examines how diverse binder materials and design strategies are employed to enable printability while addressing key electrochemical challenges in energy storage devices,

In Situ Derived Fe/FexOy Janus Electrocatalyst for Efficient Nitrate‐to‐Ammonia Conversion via Intensifying Nitrate Affinity and Active Hydrogen Supply

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A Janus electrocatalyst, Fe/FexOy is facilely synthesized via in situ reconstruction of β‐FeOOH. In particular, the electronically coupled Fe crystal phase with FexOy exhibits high NO3RR performance through synergistic promotion of nitrate adsorption/activation and water activation, offering an alternative platform to conventional bi‐metallic catalyst ...

Foamed Concrete Sealing Materials for Coal Seam Gas Drainage Boreholes: A Review

open access: yesSafety Science and Technology, EarlyView.
This study investigates the sealing performance of foamed concrete in gas drainage boreholes. By comparing leakage pathways (a, c) with sealed systems (b, d), the research demonstrates how foamed concrete effectively fills mining‐induced fractures and resists deformation.
