INFLUENCE OF DATE OF SEEDING ON YIELD AND YIELD COMPONENTS IN FLAXSEED
Canadian Journal of Plant Science, 1964Grain yields and components of yield were determined for 12 varieties planted approximately 2 weeks apart beginning May 10 in 1951 and May 8 in 1953. Date of seeding had an effect on the number of bolls per plant and on the number of seeds per boll produced. Variety differences for yield were significant only in the drier season of 1953.
