Yielding Ability and Yield Stability of Linseed in Central Europe
Agronomy Journal, 1995AbstractSuccessful linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.) cropping in Central Europe depends on yielding ability and yield stability of cultivars, as well as on reliability of production systems. During 1991 and 1992, two experiments spread over 14 representative locations in Germany and one location in Switzerland were conducted to analyze the effects of ...

Increasing Yield Potential and Yield Stability in Durum Wheat
2001In the next 20 years, it is estimated that global wheat production must increase by 40% to meet the ever increasing demand. “Increasing the intensity of production in those ecosystems that lend themselves to sustainable intensification, while decreasing intensity of production in the more fragile ecosystems” may be the only way for agriculture to keep ...

STABILITY OF YIELD IN FOXTAIL MILLET
Madras Agricultural Journal, 1990Variety x environmental components was highly significant indicating differential response of varieties over environments in foxtall millets. Stability analysis indicated SIA-9, Arjun and Co 5 had better adaptation to unfavourable environment while SLA 2566 and SLA 326 had high performance and adapted to favourable conditions.

STABILITY ON SEED YIELD IN PIGEONPEA
Madras Agricultural Journal, 1997Seventeen pigeonpea genetypes were studied for their stability for seed yield over three years. The linear component of regression is not significant against pooled error indicates that the prediction of performance of late maturing pigeonpea genotypes over environments is difficult.

Effect of genome combinations on stability of yield and yield components in wheats and triticales
Theoretical and Applied Genetics, 1987The data on number of grains/spike, 100 grain weight and grain yield/plant in eighteen genotypes of four genome combinations (AABB- 4 genotypes, AABBDD- 6 genotypes, AABBRR- 5 genotypes and AABBDDRR- 3 genotypes) were recorded for eight environments created by combining two dates of sowing, two fertilizer regimes and two spacings.

Temperature is key to yield and stability of BSA stabilized microbubbles
Food Hydrocolloids, 2016Abstract The effect of preparation and storage parameters on the number, size and stability of microbubbles covered with bovine serum albumin (BSA) was investigated. A large number of microbubbles with a high stability was obtained at protein concentration of 7.5% or higher, at pH between 5 and 6, at an ionic strength of 1.0 M and at a preheating ...

Effect of the gene for double pod in chickpea on yield, yield components and stability of yield
Plant Breeding, 1998AbstractFive pairs of near isogenic lines (NILs) for the gene for single vs. double pod were used to study the effect of this character on yield and its components (seeds per plant, yield per plant and seed weight). The NILs were sown in 2 years at five locations in ihe first year and four locations in the second.

Stability on the Yield Surface
1991It is proved that, if plastic deformation is unrestrained, the yield surface has to be equipotential for free energy. On the other hand, if plastic deformation is isochoric, then the intersections of the yield surface with the planes at constant volume must be equipotential.

Has yield stability changed with genetic improvement of wheat yield?
Euphytica, 1999The effect of plant breeding on yield and their physiological determinants has been widely studied in wheat. However, it is poorly understood how, and to what extent, yield stability has been modified. To attempt a direct analysis of changes in absolute and relative yield stability, data of yield of cultivars released in different eras in different ...
