The pharmacokinetics of yohimbine in man
European Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, 1987The kinetic disposition of yohimbine was examined in eight young male subjects following a single oral dose of 10 mg yohimbine hydrochloride. The drug was rapidly absorbed (absorption half-time 0.17 +/- 0.11 h) and rapidly eliminated from the plasma (elimination half-life 0.60 +/- 0.26 h).

Synthesis of Yohimbines, 5. Enantioselective Total Synthesis of Yohimbine and β‐Yohimbine Antipodes
Liebigs Annalen der Chemie, 1986AbstractBoth, natural and non‐natural antipodes of yohimbine (1) and β‐yohimbine (2) have been synthesized from the tetracyclic keto ester 12 using second order asymmetric transformation in its resolution step.

Fluorometric Assay of Yohimbine
Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1963The fluorescence of solutions of yohimbine under ultraviolet light is increased by heating with hydrogen peroxide and is quantitatively related to its concentration. An assay procedure has been developed for pharmaceutical preparations containing yohimbine.
