Metal Sulfides as Potential Materials for Next Generation Lithium Ion Batteries: A Review
The flame spray pyrolysis (FSP) method demonstrates its superiority in fabricating metal sulfide‐based electrodes without inactive materials like organic binders or solvents. The particles are directly deposited and compressed onto the electrode surface, integrating into continuous production.

Abstract Sturgeons have a complex free‐embryo period extending from hatch to the initiation of exogenous feeding. Although available for some sturgeon species of the genus Acipenser, descriptions of the developmental stages of free embryos of the genus Scaphirhynchus are lacking.

Microglial ApoD‐induced NLRC4 inflammasome activation promotes Alzheimer's disease progression
We found that NLRC4 inflammasome was activated in microglia releasing IL6 and TNF‐α to impair the hippocampal neural stem cells (NSCs) self‐proliferation. ApoD contributed to activating NLRC4 inflammasome in microglia. Targeting the ApoD provides beneficial effects on NSCs self‐proliferation and mature neurons survival.

Temporal transcriptome analysis of the chicken embryo yolk sac
BackgroundThe yolk sac (YS) is an extra-embryonic tissue that surrounds the yolk and absorbs, digests and transports nutrients during incubation of the avian embryo as well as during early term mammalian embryonic development.

Functional Polymers for Silicon Anodes from Liquid to Solid Electrolyte Batteries
Silicon, despite its high capacity as a promising anode material for lithium‐ion batteries, encounters challenges of volume expansion and unstable solid electrolyte interphase. Polymers serve as binders, modifiers, and electrolytes to address these issues, with this review outlining their roles and suggesting future research directions. Due to its high

A rare case of primary mediastinal yolk sac tumor
Yolk sac tumor (endodermal sinus tumor) is a subtype of germ cell tumor and a highly malignant neoplasm. In addition to presenting in ovaries and testes, the tumor has been detected at several extragonadal sites, including the presacral area, the ...

Improved Soft Actor-Critic: Mixing Prioritized Off-Policy Samples with On-Policy Experience [PDF]
Soft Actor-Critic (SAC) is an off-policy actor-critic reinforcement learning algorithm, essentially based on entropy regularization. SAC trains a policy by maximizing the trade-off between expected return and entropy (randomness in the policy). It has achieved state-of-the-art performance on a range of continuous-control benchmark tasks, outperforming ...
