Remote Control of Hand Actuators via Glove Sensors for Medical Care Applications
This study presents a novel textile‐based sensory glove–actuator system for remote medical care, explored through finite element simulations. By integrating capacitive sensors, pneumatic actuators, and machine learning, the system models real‐time hand movement control.

Multiple disruptions: circumstances and experiences of young people living with homelessness and unemployment [PDF]
This article is about young people who have experienced both homelessness and unemployment, with their interacting impacts. While ‘young people’ is usually understood to include those beyond childhood and up to 25 years of age, the homelessness services

CD207+ dendritic cells (DCs) drive emphysema by promoting CD8⁺ T cell cytotoxicity via Birbeck granule‐dependent MHC‐I antigen presentation. This DC subset is expanded by cigarette smoke‐induced oxidative stress, which triggers granulocyte‐macrophage colony‐stimulating factor (GM‐CSF) release from airway epithelium.

Engineering - young people want to be informed [PDF]
Young people in developed nations recognise the contribution that science and technology make to society and acknowledge their importance now and in the future, yet few view their study as leading to interesting careers.

In PCOS patients with hyperandrogenemia, decreased ferritin heavy chain 1 (FTH1) causes Fe2⁺ overload and ferroptosis in trophoblasts. Androgens induce FTH1 protein degradation via AR‐LAMP2A‐mediated chaperone‐mediated autophagy pathway, leading to placental development disruption and early pregnancy loss. Metformin mitigates androgen‐induced placental

Modifying Glucose Metabolism Reverses Memory Defects of Alzheimer's Disease Model at Late Stages
Using spatial transcriptomics, we show that ferul enanthate (SL‐ZF‐01) reverses episodic‐like memory deficits in aged, but not young, Alzheimer’s disease (AD) mice. SL restores glucose metabolism and Glucose Transporter 1/3 expression via an ‘Aging‐AD‐Rescue’ pattern, rescuing deficits seen in aged AD mice.
