Equivalence – Equivalence Relations: Effects of Training-Structure and Competition Between Arbitrary and Relations of Physical Similarity

open access: yesRevista Argentina de Ciencias del Comportamiento, 2011
In this paper we study the necessary and sufficient conditions for the training of conditional relations, the formation of equivalence classes and relations of "equivalence - equivalence".

TRADUIRE LES CONTRATS DU DROIT FRANÇAIS PAR ÉQUIVALENCE FONCTIONNELLE/TRANSLATING FRENCH LAW CONTRACTS THROUGH FUNCTIONAL EQUIVALENCE/TRADUCEREA CONTRACTELOR DIN DREPTUL FRANCEZ PRIN INTERMEDIUL ECHIVALENȚEI FUNCȚIONALE [PDF]

open access: yesStudii si Cercetari Filologice: Seria Limbi Straine Aplicate, 2020
The topic of this paper is represented by the translation of French contracts through functional equivalence. In the first part of the study, we present the avatars of the concept of equivalence in Translation Studies, the notion of dynamic equivalence

Modèle de congestion routière à deux itinéraires : une expérience [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Working Paper du GATE 2002-08Most theoretical studies of traffic congestion during the morning commute have been limited to one origin, one destination, and one route. The purpose of our paper is to generalize the analysis of Arnott et al.

A Quillen's Theorem A for strict $\infty$-categories I: the simplicial proof

open access: yes, 2018
The aim of this paper is to prove a generalization of the famous Theorem A of Quillen for strict $\infty$-categories. This result is central to the homotopy theory of strict $\infty$-categories developed by the authors.

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Indicators of Evidence for Bioequivalence

open access: yesEntropy, 2016
Some equivalence tests are based on two one-sided tests, where in many applications the test statistics are approximately normal. We define and find evidence for equivalence in Z-tests and then one- and two-sample binomial tests as well as for t-tests ...

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Hands‐on protocol for preparing water‐soluble fractions from agri‐food samples for NMR‐based metabolomics analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This research protocol outlines a workflow for nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)‐based metabolomics in the agri‐food sector. Using two case studies—strawberry leaves (solid matrix) and wine (liquid matrix)—it details the procedures for sample preparation, data acquisition, and processing.
