First Report on the Phytochemical and Pharmacological Properties of Hedysarum yilmazunalii

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 9, September 2026.
Hedysarum yilmazunalii was collected from Erzincan, Türkiye. The leaf, stem, and root parts were then used for methanolic extraction. The extracts were analyzed for their phytochemical composition by LC–MS/MS and tested for antioxidant, enzyme inhibitory, and antiproliferative activities.

Investigation of In Vitro α‐Amylase Inhibitory, Antioxidant, Phytochemical Profiling, Molecular Docking, and Swiss ADME Analysis of Magnolia zotictla

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 9, September 2026.
Phytochemical profiling was determined via HPLC and GC–MS analysis. In HPLC analysis, five compounds were identified, while five compounds were identified through GC–MS. The plant extract exhibited good antioxidant efficacy in the DPPH assay, highlighting its capacity to neutralize free radicals. The extract has IC5₀ value of 123.8 µg/mL, while that of

Phenolic Profiling and Bioactivity Evaluation of Stachys aleurites Extracts: LC–ESI–MS/MS Characterization, Antioxidant Capacity, and Enzyme Inhibitory Potential

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 9, September 2026.
Solvent polarity shapes the phytochemical and bioactivity profile of Stachys aleurites. Methanol extraction enriches phenolics, especially verbascoside and chlorogenic acid, and enhances antioxidant and enzyme inhibitory activities, whereas the aqueous extract shows selective metal‐chelating and BChE inhibitory potential. ABSTRACT Natural products rich

Design, Synthesis, Molecular Dynamics, and In Vitro Evaluation of Isatin‐Based Quinazoline Derivatives as Potential Antidiabetic Agents

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 9, September 2026.
A series of substituted indolo[2,1‐b]quinazoline‐6,12‐diones (SJ1‐SJ8) has been studied for their possible α‐amylase inhibition property as an antidiabetic lead compound. The most potent inhibitory activity among the tested derivatives was showed by SJ2 (IC50 = 18.49 ± 0.06 µM), similar to the reference drug acarbose (IC50 = 16.26 ± 0.02 µM).
