Designing Polymer Nanocomposites for X‐Ray Shielding: Mechanisms, Architectures, and Scalable Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This review highlights advances in lightweight, lead‐free polymer nanocomposites for diagnostic X‐ray shielding. By linking filler chemistry, dispersion, architecture, and photon interaction mechanisms, it establishes structure–performance relationships guiding material design.

Hyperforin Ameliorates Imiquimod-Induced Psoriasis-Like Murine Skin Inflammation by Modulating IL-17A–Producing γδ T Cells

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2021
Hyperforin is a major active constituent of Hypericum perforatum L. extract, which is widely used for the treatment of depressive disorders. Recent studies have reported that hyperforin reduced inflammation in stroke and suppressed proliferation and ...

The BTLA and PD‐1 signaling pathways independently regulate the proliferation and cytotoxicity of human peripheral blood γδ T cells

open access: yesImmunity, Inflammation and Disease, 2021
Background B‐ and T‐lymphocyte attenuator (BTLA) and programmed cell death‐1 (PD‐1) inhibit γδ T cell homeostasis and activation. This study aimed to determine whether BTLA and PD‐1 signaling pathways were convergent or independent in human peripheral ...

Solution‐Processed Two‐Dimensional Indium Oxide on Sodium‐Embedded Alumina for Reconfigurable Optoelectronic Synaptic Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Wafer‐scale two‐dimensioanl In2Se3 oxidized into InOx on sodium‐embedded beta‐alumina enables multifunctional reconfigurable electronics. Sodium ions accumulate within distinct spatial distribution under drain‐controlle and gate‐controlled operation. Drain‐control operation gives controllability of ultraviolet‐driven optoelectronic synaptic conductance

Aberrant Activation of the STING-TBK1 Pathway in γδ T Cells Regulates Immune Responses in Oral Lichen Planus

open access: yesBiomedicines, 2023
Oral lichen planus (OLP) is a chronic T cell-mediated inflammatory disease. Interferon (IFN)-γ has been suggested to be vital for the OLP immune responses.

γδ T cells producing interleukin-17A regulate adipose regulatory T cell homeostasis and thermogenesis

open access: yesNature Immunology, 2018
γδ T cells are situated at barrier sites and guard the body from infection and damage. However, little is known about their roles outside of host defense in nonbarrier tissues.

Image_6_D-Mannose Suppresses γδ T Cells and Alleviates Murine Psoriasis.tif

open access: yes, 2022
Psoriasis is a chronic skin disorder associated with multiple sequelae, such as psoriatic arthritis and cardiovascular diseases. Increasing evidence has shown that γδ T cells, as sources of IL-17A, play critical roles in psoriatic inflammations. However,

Phase Evolution Kinetics in Additive‐Free 19.75% Organic Photovoltaics Empowered by Solvent Vapor Annealing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Solvent vapor annealing enables kinetic control of additive‐free morphology in organic solar cells. Selective plasticization of acceptor forms an optimal fibrillar network, boosting efficiency to 19.06% (binary) and 19.75% (ternary), with ultrafast exciton dissociation and reduced recombination.

Immunosurveillance and Immunoregulation by γδ T Cells

open access: yes, 2006
Whereas the vast majority of T cells express a T-cell receptor (TCR) composed of αβ heterodimers, a smaller population expresses a γδ TCR. In contrast to αβ T cells, γδ T cells show less TCR diversity, are particularly enriched at epithelial surfaces and
