本文论述了铜壁关自然保护区的现状、存在问题及发展对策。铜壁关保护区地理位置特殊,区系复杂,物种丰富,特有种多,对我国生物多样性保护具有十分重要的意义。但保护区至今尚未升为国家级,保护区级别低、缺乏专业技术人员、管理体制不顺等问题困扰着保护区的进一步发展。建议成立保护区管理局,理顺管理体制,扩大保护区面积,尽快升为国家级保护区,进行更为严格的管理。
