A new reaction route for the synthesis of 2-methyl-5-ethylpyridine
In this work, a novel synthesis route to produce 2-methyl-5-ethylpyridine (MEP) from the cyclic acetaldehyde ammonia trimer (AAT) is explored.

STUDIES IN THE PYRIDINE SERIES. PART II. A NEW SYNTHESIS OF 2-METHYL-4-ETHYLPYRIDINE.
The monostyryl base, obtained from 2 :15.-dimethyl-4-ethylpyridine, has been oxidised to 2-methy1:4-ethy1pyridine-a-carboxylic acid, which is decarhoxylated to 2-methY1-4- ethylpyridine. The picrate of the latter, m.p. x42°, on admixture with the picrate

The structure of a new secondary metabolite from Streptomyces sp. was determined as 4-acetyl-1,3-dihydroimidazo[4,5-c]pyridin-2-one by synthesis of the natural product itself and of the regioisomeric 7-acetylimidazo[4,5-b]pyridine derivative.

STUDIES IN THE PYRIDINE SERIES. PART I. AN ATTEMPT TO SYNTHESISE 2-METHYL-4-ETHYLPYRIDINE.
2 : 6-Dimethyl-4-ethyl-1 : 4 dihvdropyridine-3 : 5-dicarboxylate has been obtained by condensing ethyl acetoacetate, propionaldehyde, ammonia in presence of piperidine. The dihydro ester, on oxidation in ether, solution with nitrous fumes or by iodine in

A facile sonochemical method for rapid and gram‐scale synthesis of ligand‐tunable cobalt‐oxo‐cubanes is reported. Electrochemical studies reveal a Co4O4‐centered one‐electron oxidation and PCET pathway, while identifying Co2+ impurities as key disruptors of true cubane redox chemistry.

Heteroatom‐Doped Graphdiynes and Their Applications in Photo‐/Electro‐Catalytic CO2 Conversion
This review highlights the versatile role of doped graphdiyne (GDY) in boosting CO2 conversion, where metal and non‐metal doping simultaneously tune the electronic structure, create abundant active sites, and improve charge separation, light harvesting, and CO2 adsorption.

Artificial Metalloenzymes with Two Catalytic Cofactors for Tandem Abiotic Transformations
Sequential incorporation of an organic photocatalytic cofactor and a metal cofactor into streptavidin leads to artificial metalloenzymes (ArMs) that catalyze tandem abiotic transformations such as enantioselective formal C−H hydroxylation and photooxidation‐Michael addition. This work introduces a programmable approach for the construction of ArMs that
