32P Radiosynoviorthesis in Children With Hemophilia
Journal of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, 2002This study was performed to prospectively evaluate the safety, efficacy, and cost of injecting P-colloid into joints of children with hemophilia and synovitis to decrease the rate of joint bleeding.Eligibility included a diagnosis of hemophilia, history of more than six hemorrhages into a joint within a 6-month period, and evidence of synovitis by ...

Abstract A 32 P-labeling method for the base composition analysis of nonradioactive DNA was developed consisting of the digestion of DNA to deoxynucleoside 3′-monophosphates by incubation with a mixture of micrococcal nuclease and spleen phosphodiesterase, transfer of 32 P-label from [γ- 32 P]ATP to the 5′-hydroxyl groups of the mononucleotides by ...

The enzymatic preparation of [α-32P]nucleoside triphosphates, cyclic [32P]AMP, and cyclic [32P]GMP
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Nucleic Acids and Protein Synthesis, 1979A method has been developed for the enzymatic preparation of alpha-(32)P-labeled ribo- and deoxyribonucleoside triphosphates, cyclic [(32)P]AMP, and cyclic [(32)P]GMP of high specific radioactivity and in high yield from (32)Pi. The method also enables the preparation of [gamma-(32)P]ATP, [gamma-(32)P]GTP, [gamma-(32)P]ITP, and [gamma-(32)P]-dATP of ...

Abstract The ChE- and AE- activities and the 32 P-concentration of the plasma from rats 1 and 24 hr after s.c. injection of 32 P-sarin (200 μg kg ) were measured. One hr after the injection the ChE was inhibited to approx. 10 per cent and the AE to 40–50 per cent; 23 hr later 50 per cent of the ChE activity was found to be restored and the AE

Abstract One hr after the i.v. injection of 50 μg/kg of 32 P-sarin into rats considerable concentrations of 32 P containing material were found in the blood, the kidneys and the lungs and relatively small concentrations in the brain and the m.gastrocnemius. In rats which had received an i.p.

Abstract Spins, parities and transition probabilities of levels in 32P at Ex > 3.5 MeV have been determined with the 29Si(α, pγ)32P reaction at bombarding energies of Eα = 12.80, 12.93 and 16.30 MeV. Proton-gamma angular correlation experiments and DSA lifetime measurements lead to six unambiguous spin assignments and to many spin limitations.

Spin-parity combinations in 32P from the 34S(, α)32P reaction
Nuclear Physics A, 1977Abstract The reaction 34S( d , α)32P has been studied using a tensor-polarized deuteron beam at bombarding energies of 8.25, 8.50, 8.75, 9.25 and 9.50 MeV. From measurement of the tensor analyzing power, T20 when α-particles are emitted near 0°, spin-parity combinations have been assigned to 23 levels in 32P in the excitation energy range 1.0 to ...

Enzymatic synthesis of [β-32P]ADP using adenylate kinase and [γ-32P]ATP
Analytical Biochemistry, 1985An enzymatic method for the synthesis of [beta-32P]ADP from [gamma-32P]ATP is described. This substrate is required for the assay of ADPase and is not commercially available. The method described results in a preparation of [beta-32P]ADP of high purity with a yield of approximately 40% the theoretical obtainable.

Synthesis of [γ-32P]thiamine triphosphate
Analytical Biochemistry, 1988We developed a novel chemical synthesis of thiamine triphosphate which allows us to incorporate 32P in the gamma position. The reaction is based on the condensation of [32P]orthophosphoric acid and thiamine diphosphate in the presence of ethyl chloroformate.

The absolute standardization of 32P and 204Tl at LNMRI
Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 200432P and 204Tl solutions were standardized within the frame of the international key comparisons organized by bureau international des poids et mesures, in 2002. The activity concentration of 32P was measured by counting solid sources in a 4pibeta proportional gas flow counter and by liquid scintillation counting.
