Advanced Integrated Control Strategy Based on SBW and 4WS
2009 Pacific-Asia Conference on Circuits, Communications and Systems, 2009This paper proposes a chassis integrated control system theoretically utilizing SBW system by using 4WS method to improve vehicle handling and stability. With the application of integrated SBW and 4WS strategy, this paper investigates the effectiveness of the proposed control system in enhancing vehicle handling and stability.

Virtual Prototype Co-Simulation of 4WS Vehicle
Advanced Materials Research, 2011A new 4WS vehicle model is set up by means of revamping a foreign FWS model. Co-simulation is completed by loading 4WS mechanical model as a subsystem which is built to express the characteristics of physical model of vehicle in ADAMS/Car into the control system modeled in MATLAB.

The 4W framework for B2B e-contracting
International Journal of Networking and Virtual Organisations, 2003Contracts are fundamental to the engagement of companies in commercial relations. B2B electronic contracting aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the contracting process and to provide new opportunities for the contracting parties. Virtual enterprises, for example, can be dynamically formed on the basis of e-contracts.

The Integrated Control of SBW and 4WS
SAE Technical Paper Series, 2007<div class="htmlview paragraph">Steer-by-wire System is a new conception for steering system, which eliminates those mechanical linkages between hand steering wheel and front wheels, and communicates among the driver and wheels by signals and controllers. All these facilities improve the safety and conformability of the vehicle system and get rid

Additional 4WS and Driver Interaction
Vehicle System Dynamics, 1995SUMMARY This investigation is based on a complex 4-wheel vehicle model of a passenger car that includes steering system and drive train. The tyre properties are described for all possible combined longitudinal and lateral slip values and for arbitrary friction conditions. The active part is an additional steering system of all 4 wheels, additionally to

Parameter optimization for decoupling controllers of 4WS vehicles
Artificial Life and Robotics, 2013In this paper, performance analysis of physical models and parameter optimization of two typical decoupling controllers are considered. Firstly, new relationship between velocity and acceleration for the nonlinear performance is established. Then, for the decoupled quasi-linearized system, the parameter region is optimized, in which the damping is ...

Robust triangular decoupling with application to 4WS cars
IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2000Summary: The necessary and sufficient conditions for the problem of robust triangular decoupling (RTD) are established for the case of a linear time-invariant system with a nonlinear uncertain structure. The general analytic expressions of the feedback matrices and the robust triangularly decoupled closed-loop system are derived.

Decoupling Control Algorithms for 4WS Vehicles
2006 IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics, 2006The problem of controlling the steering motion of four?wheel-steering (4WS) vehicles is studied using decoupling control algorithms. The vehicle (lateral/directional plus roll dynamics) model is controlled using a static state feedback law with static precompensator. The main goal is to independently control the steering angle and the sideslip angle of
