Oxidation and anti-oxidation of conjugated trienoic fatty acid methyl ester [PDF]
Although conjugated fatty acids are paid much attention to their interesting physiological properties such as anticancer, anti-arteriosclerosis, anti-hypertension activities, loss in body fat etc, there is few information on their oxidation behaviors. In

Polymer‐based drug delivery systems can effectively overcome the limitations of free drugs in terms of solubility, stability, and plasma half‐life, yet their development has traditionally relied on time‐consuming trial‐and‐error approaches. This review highlights recent advances in applying molecular simulation to the design of polymer‐based drug ...

Modelling the behavior of 5-aminolevulinic acid and its alkyl esters in a lipid bilayer
5-Aminolevulinic acid (5ALA) and ester derivates thereof are used as prodrugs in photodynamic therapy (PDT). The behavior of 5ALA and three esters of 5ALA in a DPPC lipid bilayer is investigated.

Harnessing Photo‐Energy Conversion in Nanomaterials for Precision Theranostics
Harnessing photo‐energy conversion in nanomaterials enables precision theranostics through light‐driven mechanisms such as photoluminescence, photothermal, photoelectric, photoacoustic, photo‐triggered surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), and photodynamic processes. This review explores six fundamental principles of photo‐energy conversion, recent

Towards the development of selective hydrocarbon oxygenation catalysts
The synthesis of pure tris(6-hydroxymethyl-2-pyridylmethyl)amine (H₃L₁₁) is reported for the first time. New complexes of H₃L₁₁ with copper(II), manganese(II) and iron(III) have been characterised by X-ray crystallography.
