Weak cosmic censorship conjecture in Einstein–Maxwell gravity with scalar hair

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2020
In this paper, we focus on the weak cosmic censorship conjecture (WCCC) in the Einstein–Maxwell gravity sourced by a conformally coupled scalar field, where the black hole solution can carry a scalar hair apart from the conserved charges of the ...

Targeting TNBC: core–shell polycationic polyurea dendrimers with inherent anticancer activity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Core–shell polycationic PURE dendrimers were tested in TNBC‐derived tumor models. Both formulations selectively targeted TNBC and effectively reduced tumor volume. PUREG4‐OEI48 suppressed tumor growth without detectable toxicity, whereas PUREG4‐OCEI24, despite showing efficacy, induced hepatic toxicity.

On the high-order topological asymptotic expansion for shape functions

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2016
This article concerns the topological sensitivity analysis for the Laplace operator with respect to the presence of a Dirichlet geometry perturbation. Two main results are presented in this work.

Hands‐on protocol for preparing water‐soluble fractions from agri‐food samples for NMR‐based metabolomics analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This research protocol outlines a workflow for nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)‐based metabolomics in the agri‐food sector. Using two case studies—strawberry leaves (solid matrix) and wine (liquid matrix)—it details the procedures for sample preparation, data acquisition, and processing.

Antibiofilm activity of a chionodracine‐derived peptide by NMR‐based metabolomics of cell‐free supernatant of Acinetobacter baumannii clinical strains

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
KHS‐Cnd peptide is able to impair biofilm formation and disaggregate mature biofilms in Acinetobacter baumannii clinical isolates. Differences in extracellular metabolites reflect changes in biofilm metabolism due to KHS‐Cnd treatment. Among the differentially represented extracellular metabolites upon KHS‐Cnd treatment, the significantly altered ...

PLASTICITY AREA AT THE THREE DIMENSIONAL CURVED ELASTICITY-PLASTICITY CRACK TIP UNDER QUASI-STATIC LOAD

open access: yesJixie qiangdu, 2018
In this article, three dimensional elastic-plastic curved crack tip plasticity area under quasi-static loads has been mainly studied, and three dimensional curved crack tip plasticity area has been calculated as a practical application of a second order ...

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Influence of Shear Deformation and Rotary Intertia on Nonlinear Free Vibration of a Beam with Pinned Ends

open access: yesJournal of King Saud University: Engineering Sciences, 1998
The method of multiple scales is used to analyze the nonlinear vibrations of a beam with pinned ends. The formulation incorporates the effects of the transverse shear deformation as well as the rotary inertia on the large-amplitude vibration behaviour. A
