İLK DÖNEM İSLÂM MANTIKÇILARININ MODAÜTEYE YAKLAŞIMI
This study explores the modal propositions and modal syllogisms of Muslim logicians such as Farabi, Ibn Sina, Ghazali, Abu Salt al-Dani and Ibn Tumlus. Although they all discuss the modal propositions, only Ibn Sina and Abu Salt al-Dani consider modal ...

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Absolute performance of AUSGeoid09 in mountainous regions
The Australian Height Datum (AHD) is the current national vertical datum for Australia, and AUSGeoid09 is the latest quasigeoid model used to compute (normal-orthometric) AHD heights from Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) derived ellipsoidal ...

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Response: Commentary on the effects of hypoxia on energy substrate use during exercise
Background A recent commentary has been published on our meta-analysis, which investigated substrate oxidation during exercise matched for relative intensities in hypoxia compared with normoxia.

We first identified functional murine mitochondrial N‐formyl peptides (MT‐FPs) and investigated their effects on the in vitro myeloid‐derived suppressor cell (MDSC) generation from bone marrow cells. We demonstrated that MT‐FPs acted directly on bone marrow cells to promote MDSC generation and modulated the polymorphonuclear (PMN)‐MDSC/monocyte (M ...

Variability growth rate of dairy breeds calves depending on colostrum quality
Successful rearing of heifers largely depends on the supply of colostrum in the initial period of postnatal ontogenesis. The need to feed colostrum for 2-3 hours after birth is explained by the establishment of passive immunity in calves, and the amount ...

In this study, we developed a deep learning method for mitotic figure counting in H&E‐stained whole‐slide images and evaluated its prognostic impact in 13 external validation cohorts from seven different cancer types. Patients with more mitotic figures per mm2 had significantly worse patient outcome in all the studied cancer types except colorectal ...

Least absolute deviation estimation of linear econometric models: A literature review
Econometricians generally take for granted that the error terms in the econometric models are generated by distributions having a finite variance. However, since the time of Pareto the existence of error distributions with infinite variance is known ...
