Implementation of an Approximate Conformal UPML in 2-D DGTD
Using the numerical discrete technique with unstructured grids, conformal perfectly matched layer (PML) absorbing boundary in the discontinuous Galerkin time-domain (DGTD) can be set flexibly so as to save lots of computing resources.

On the long-time behavior of a continuous duopoly model with constant conjectural variation
The paper concerns a continuous model governed by a ODE system originated by a discrete duopoly model with bounded rationality, based on constant conjectural variation.

Weak topologies for Carath\'eodory differential equations. Continuous dependence, exponential Dichotomy and attractors [PDF]
We introduce new weak topologies and spaces of Carath\'eodory functions where the solutions of the ordinary differential equations depend continuously on the initial data and vector fields.

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

On 1-absorbing δ-primary ideals
Let R be a commutative ring with nonzero identity. Let 𝒥(R) be the set of all ideals of R and let δ : 𝒥 (R) → 𝒥 (R) be a function. Then δ is called an expansion function of ideals of R if whenever L, I, J are ideals of R with J ⊆ I, we have L ⊆ δ (L) and

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Existence and regularity of a global attractor for doubly nonlinear parabolic equations
In this paper we consider a doubly nonlinear parabolic partial differential equation $$ frac{partial eta (u)}{partial t}-Delta _{p}u+f(x,t,u)=0 quad hbox{in }Omega imesmathbb{R}^{+}, $$ with Dirichlet boundary condition and initial data given.

The Existence of a Global Attractor for one Fourth Order Hyperbolic Equation with Memory Operator
In this work, the initial-boundary value problem for one fourth order semilinear hyperbolic equation with memory operator is considered (here the memory operator is under the operator of differentiation with respect to time variable).

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...
