Abstract In this work, nanostructured Cu/Al/Mn multilayered composites were successfully fabricated by the accumulative roll bonding (ARB) method. The microstructure of the produced composites was studied by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy.

In this study, passivation behavior of ultrafine-grained (UFG) pure copper fabricated by ARB process in 0.01 M borax solution has been investigated. Before any electrochemical measurements, evaluation of microstructure was obtained by transmission electron microscopy (TEM).

In this study, the effect of stacking fault energy on the formation of nanostructure in aluminum, copper, and brass fabricated via the accumulative roll bonding (ARB) process was investigated. Evolution of microstructure of the samples was investigated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM).

Abstract Cu/Zn multilayer was processed by accumulative roll bonding (ARB) up to eight cycles. The evolution of microstructure and its correlation with mechanical properties was investigated. Necking and rupture of constituents were observed at intermediate cycles. The intermetallic CuZn5, microcracks and Kirkendall porosities were formed during ARB.

Abstract In the present research an extend investigation about the corrosion behaviour of Al–SiC nano-composite, produced by accumulative roll bonding process, has been made. Hence various tests such as polarisation and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in 3.5 with % NaCl solution were carried out.

Nano-grained 70/30 brass strip produced by accumulative roll-bonding (ARB) process
Materials Science and Engineering: A, 2010Accumulative roll-bonding process is the only severe plastic deformation (SPD) process using rolling deformation itself, and has been used for 70/30 brass up to 6 cycles at ambient temperature under unlubricated conditions. Microstructural characterizations were done by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). After 6 cycles it was found that continuous
