The ACES II program system

International Journal of Quantum Chemistry, 1992
ACES II, a new program system for ab initio electronic structure calculations is described. The strengths of ACES II involve the use of many-body perturbation theory (MBPT) and coupled-cluster (CC) theory for calculating the energy, geometry, spectra, and properties of small- to medium-sized molecules.

Non-ACE Pathway-induced Angiotensin II Production

Current Pharmaceutical Design, 2013
For the past century, the renin-angiotensin system (RAS) has been recognized as one of the major blood pressure-regulating systems. Angiotensin II (Ang II) is the final physiologically active product of RAS, and it works not only as a strong vasopressor but also as a promotor of tissue remodeling in various organs such as heart, arteries, and kidneys ...

ac-loss valley in type-II superconductors

Physical Review B, 1992
Hysteresis losses W have been calculated as a function of temperature T, bias field ${\mathit{H}}_{\mathit{b}}$, and amplitude ${\mathit{h}}_{0}$ for planar geometry in the critical-state framework with ${\mathit{j}}_{\mathit{c}}$=\ensuremath{\alpha}(T)/${\mathit{B}}^{\mathit{n}}$ for n=0, 1/2, and 1 in the range ${\mathit{H}}_{\mathit{b}}$/${\mathit{h}

AC Oxley II cicer milkvetch

Canadian Journal of Plant Science, 2001
AC Oxley II cicer milkvetch (Astragalus cicer L.) was developed by the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Research Centre, Lethbridge, Alberta. This synthetic cultivar developed for improved seedling vigour and tested as LRC95-93-1 in Western Forage Tests established in 1996 outyielded Oxley, the check cultivar, by 19%.
