エストロゲンはアンジオテンシン変換酵素の発現を制御する [PDF]
Estrogen(E2) regulates the components of the renin-angiotensin system(RAS).Regulation of angiotensinogen (ATG) gene expression by estrogen is well known, however, the effects of estrogen on angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) remains unclear.

Conversion and degradation of [125I] labelled angiotensin I in isolated perfused porcine coronary and carotid arteries [PDF]
The aims were (1) to quantitate angiotensin I to II conversion on the endothelial surface and at deeper sites in isolated arteries, (2) to assess whether the angiotensin II that is formed at deeper sites is released into the vascular lumen, and (3) to ...

The ACS Virgo Cluster Survey. II. Data Reduction Procedures
The ACS Virgo Cluster Survey is a large program to carry out multi-color imaging of 100 early-type members of the Virgo Cluster using the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) on the Hubble Space Telescope. Deep F475W and F850LP images (~ SDSS g and z) are being used to study the central regions of the program galaxies, their globular cluster systems, and ...

Pathogenic Germline PALB2 and RAD50 Variants in Patients With Relapsed Ewing Sarcoma
ABSTRACT Approximately 10% of patients with Ewing sarcoma (EwS) have pathogenic germline variants. Here, we report two cases: first, a novel germline pathogenic variant in partner and localizer of BRCA2 (PALB2) in a patient with a late EwS relapse. Its impact on homologous recombination is demonstrated, and breast cancer risk is discussed.

Pathogenetic connection of lipid profile changes with left ventricle hypertrophic models depending on genes polymorphism' ace (I/D), eNOS (T894G) in patients with essential hypertension [PDF]
Purpose. To establish the dependence of lipid profile changes in patients with essential arterial hypertension (EAH) on the type of left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) and gene polymorphism of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE, I/D) and endothelial ...

Plasma Angiotensin II and the Antihypertensive Action of Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme Inhibition [PDF]
The measurement of immunoreactive "angiotensin II” in plasma cannot provide an accurate reflection of the efficacy of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibition because different angiotensin fragments interfere in all radioimmunoassays available so ...
