Each molecule is hydrogen bonded to two adjacent molecules which are part of the same stacked column. The N-H...N hydrogen bonds have an N...N distance of 2.95A.

Acridon-Alkaloide aus Gewebekulturen
1978Werden Gewebekulturen von Ruta graveolens L. unter bestimmten Bedingungen aufgezogen, produzieren sie intensiv gelbe Farbstoffe. Es war zu erwarten, das die Farbung zumindest teilweise von Acridon-Alkaloiden verursacht wird. Eine Klarung dieser Frage sollte die Analyse von Wurzel- und Stengel-Kallus-Kulturen bringen.

9-Acridone from 2,2′-diaminobenzophenone
J. Chem. Soc. C, 19669-Acridone and 3,6-dichloro-9-acridone have been prepared in high yields by treatment of the corresponding 2,2′-diaminobenzophenones with 100% phosphoric acid. Boiling hydrochloric acid does not effect these cyclisations.

Reactions in the Acridone‐Fields.
Helvetica Chimica Acta, 1976Abstract1‐Chlor‐ und 1,7‐Dichlor‐4‐nitro‐acridon wurden mit einigen Phenolen und Bisphenolen zu Farbstoffen umgesetzt, die Polyvinylchlorid grünlichgelb färben. Im Xenotest 800 Std. belichtet, zeigten die einfachen Acridone IX bis XIII eine ungewöhnlich hohe Lichtechtheit; sie sind aber migrationsunecht.
