Background Because of the high resistance rate of fibrosarcomas against cytotoxic agents clinical chemotherapy of these tumors is not established. A better understanding of the diverse modes of tumor cell death following cytotoxic therapies will provide ...

The antitumor immune response is attenuated in T cell‐specific Ezh2 knockout mice. ABSTRACT Appropriate regulation of the differentiation balance between effector CD8+ T cells and memory CD8+ T cells is crucial for an appropriate immune response. We previously reported that the tumor suppressor menin suppresses the differentiation of CD8+ T cells into ...

Tumor‐Derived Exosomal piR‐hsa‐28212 Promotes Lymphatic Metastasis in Breast Cancer
Breast cancer–derived exosomal piR‐hsa‐28212 promotes lymphangiogenesis and lymph node metastasis by activating VEGFC/VEGFR3 signaling. It stabilizes TBX1 mRNA in lymphatic endothelial cells and METTL3 protein in tumor cells, enhancing VEGFR3 expression and VEGFC secretion.

Copy number variation analysis in The Cancer Genome Atlas identified NTAQ1 as a potential driver of HCC progression. NTAQ1 accelerates tumor growth by promoting the degradation of the tumor suppressor protein PRDM2, thereby impairing DNA repair and suppressing apoptosis. These findings indicate that NTAQ1 could be a valuable target for the treatment of

Elesclomol‐induced cuproptosis potently activates both innate and adaptive antitumor immunity, especially CD8+ T cell immunity. FDX1 serves as a central regulator of CD8+ T cell functionality through DMBT1 downregulation during cuproptosis in colorectal cancer.

Modulation of Hoogsteen dynamics on DNA recognition
DNA is found in a dynamic equilibrium between standard Watson-Crick (WC) base pairs and non-standard Hoogsteen (HG) base pairs. Here the authors describe the influence of echinomycin and actinomycin D ligands binding on the HG-WC base pair dynamics in ...

In this study, OP‐BMSCs were successfully isolated from OVX osteoporotic rats. Mechanistic investigations revealed that the RNA‐binding protein YTHDF3 significantly upregulates Tbx19 expression by enhancing the stability of Tbx19 mRNA. Elevated Tbx19 levels, in turn, activate key osteogenic molecules, effectively promoting the differentiation of OP ...
