Active Disturbance Rejection Control of Linear Induction Motor

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 2016
This paper proposes the theoretical framework and the experimental application of the active disturbance rejection control to linear induction motors. Such a nonlinear control (ADRC) technique can be viewed as a particular kind of input-output linearization control, where the nonlinear transformation of the state is not computed by means of the model ...

Active disturbance rejection control robustness simulative study

open access: yes2019 23rd International Conference on System Theory, Control and Computing (ICSTCC), 2019
This paper describes simulations of the active disturbance rejection control (ADRC). Theoretical basics of the method are described in the first theoretical part. The method is than applied to the system described by the transfer function in the practical part.

Active Disturbance Rejection Optimal Control for Quadrotors

2020 17th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD), 2020
In this work, the altitude control of a quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicle is treated using its altitude dynamics in hover mode. Due to persistent aerodynamic disturbances, the control of a quadrotor unit is cumbersome; especially, the ground wake effect which comes into play during landing.

Fractional active disturbance rejection control

ISA Transactions, 2016
A fractional active disturbance rejection control (FADRC) scheme is proposed to improve the performance of commensurate linear fractional order systems (FOS) and the robust analysis shows that the controller is also applicable to incommensurate linear FOS control.

Active disturbance rejection control for MEMS gyroscopes

2008 American Control Conference, 2008
A new control method is presented to drive the drive axis of a MEMS gyroscope to resonance and regulate the output amplitude of the axis to a fixed level. It is based on a unique active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) strategy, which actively estimates and compensates for internal dynamic changes of the plant and external disturbances in real time.

Active disturbance rejection control of a MEMS gyroscope

2008 American Control Conference, 2008
A novel method is proposed for controlling the position of a vibrating proof mass in a z-axis MEMS gyroscope while simultaneously approximating its rotation rate in a third dimension independent of cross coupling terms. Designing the controller to require minimal model information and reject a broad range of disturbances, including the cross coupling ...

Active Disturbance Rejection Control for Piezoelectric Beam

Asian Journal of Control, 2014
AbstractPiezoelectric beam dynamics are characterized by elastic properties, nonlinearities, uncertainties, and unknown disturbances, thus making vibration suppression a challenging control problem. To meet this challenge, a novel active control method has been designed and rigorously tested on actual hardware without the requirement of extensive ...

Active Disturbance Rejection Control of Underwater Manipulator

2021
In this study, a method of active disturbance rejection controller (ADRC) is presented for 2-DOF underwater manipulator. The ADRC basically does not rely on the accurate mathematical model of the object and can decouple the model. This method can eliminate the influence of model errors, time-varying parameters and external interference on the control ...

Active disturbance rejection controller for a separation column

2014 IEEE International Conference on Automation, Quality and Testing, Robotics, 2014
Isotope separation columns are known as complex, nonlinear systems with large, variable time delays. The control of such a process is a difficult task, in specific literature being proposed complex control algorithms. The main goal of the present paper is to design a simple control scheme based on active disturbance rejection method.

Active Disturbance Rejection Control of Chemical Processes

2007 IEEE 22nd International Symposium on Intelligent Control, 2007
In this paper a novel control strategy, the active disturbance rejection control (ADRC), is applied to the representative process control problems. In the ADRC framework, the disturbance and unmeasured dynamics associated with chemical processes are treated as an additional state variable, which is then estimated and compensated for in real time.
