Design and investigation of resistor matrix for active analog RC filters
Resistor matrixes are widely used in active RC filters as well as in self-tuning systems. Using self-tuning systems for active RC filters, it is possible to automatically tune various parameters of filter – cut-off frequency, gain and quality of filter ...

The equations connecting elements of the Yukawa matrix to elements of the active neutrino mass matrix in the \nu MSM theory (an extension of the Standard Model by a singlet of three right-handed neutrinos) was analyzed, and explicit relations for the ...

A Symmetric Rank-one Quasi Newton Method for Non-negative Matrix Factorization [PDF]
As we all known, the nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF) is a dimension reduction method that has been widely used in image processing, text compressing and signal processing etc.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

A Phenomenological Study on Lepton Mass Matrix Textures [PDF]
The three active light neutrinos are used to explain the neutrino oscillations. The inherently bi-large mixing neutrino mass matrix and the Fritzsch type, bi-small mixing charged lepton mass matrix are assumed.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Semi-Supervised Community Detection via Constraint Matrix Construction and Active Node Selection
Identification of community structures is essential for characterizing and analyzing complex networks. Having focusing primarily on network topological structures, most existing methods for community detection ignore two types of non-topological ...

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).
