Physical activity and sense of coherence: a meta-analysis

open access: yes, 2021
The salutogenic model of health proposes that sense of coherence, a multidimensional construct representing individuals’ perceptions that their environment is comprehensible, manageable, and meaningful, is a key determinant of stress management and well ...

In silico Analysis of Combinatorial microRNA Activity Reveals Target Genes and Pathways Associated with Breast Cancer Metastasis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Aberrant microRNA activity has been reported in many diseases, and studies often find numerous microRNAs concurrently dysregulated. Most target genes have binding sites for multiple microRNAs, and mounting evidence indicates that it is important to ...

La gestion des communications par le contexte

open access: yesPerspectives Interdisciplinaires sur le Travail et la Santé, 2001
The theme of this paper is addressed from the perspective of ergonomics psychology, in that it considers communications as components of activity that must therefore be studied in conjunction with the activity and context within which they take place ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Study on the extraction, antioxidant and antibacterial properties of total alkaloids in mulberry leaves

open access: yesSiliao yanjiu, 2023
Ultrasonic assisted extraction was used to extract total alkaloids from mulberry leaves, and the extraction conditions were optimized by orthogonal test on the basis of single-factor experiments, and the antioxidant and bacteriostatic activities of ...

De l’étude de cas à l’analyse de l’activité

open access: yesPerspectives Interdisciplinaires sur le Travail et la Santé, 2002
Case study and activity analysis involve processes that generally fall into different fields, but that have many similarities. This paper tries to show in how far each activity can be reciprocally enriched from the knowledge and experience acquired in ...

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

La notion de régulation dans l’analyse de l’activité

open access: yesPerspectives Interdisciplinaires sur le Travail et la Santé, 2006
The following text aims to show the benefit for activity analysis obtained through a better knowledge of the concept of regulation, which is often poorly defined.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
