Adaptive dynamic programming discrete‐time LQR control on electromagnetic levitation system

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications, 2023
In this paper, an adaptive dynamic programming discrete‐time linear quadratic Riccati (ADP‐DTLQR) control is designed for an electromagnetic levitation system (EMS) to track the reference trajectories and preserve stability in severe situations ...

Adaptive Dynamic Programming-based Tracking Controls of Multi-Motor Driven Systems

open access: yesTaiyuan Ligong Daxue xuebao
[Purposes] The unknown multi-motor driven load systems are addressed in this paper with game theory and adaptive dynamic programming. [Methods] The neural network (NN) is used to approximate the unknown dynamics. On the basis of the approximated dynamics,

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Adaptive Dynamic Programming and Its Application to Economic Dispatch in Microgrid: A Brief Overview

open access: yes, 2022
Both adaptive dynamic programming and other intelligent algorithms can solve the economic dispatch problem in the microgrid. Adaptive dynamic programming can reduce the computational burden, which the intelligent algorithms suffer from, by using function

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Volume-weighted Bellman error method for adaptive meshing in approximate dynamic programming

open access: yesRevista Iberoamericana de Automática e Informática Industrial RIAI, 2021
Optimal control and reinforcement learning have an associate “value function” which must be suitably approximated. Value function approximation problems usually have different precision requirements in different regions of the state space.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Nonzero-Sum Game-Based Modular Manipulator Optimal Tracking Control: Performance-Index Function Without Control Input

open access: yesRobotics
To address the issue that the performance-index function encompassing both dynamic and control processes in traditional adaptive dynamic programming (ADP) cannot be optimized as time approaches infinity, this paper proposes an optimal tracking control ...
