Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

In this article, a new data-based adaptive dynamic programming algorithm is proposed to solve the optimal control policy for discrete-time systems with uncertainties. Firstly, for uncertain systems, the corresponding Hamiltonian function is designed, and

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

An event-triggered output feedback control approach is proposed via a disturbance observer and adaptive dynamic programming (ADP). The solution starts by constructing a nonlinear disturbance observer, which only depends on the measurement of system ...

Dynamically adapting the degree of parallelism with reflexive programs
In this paper we present a new method for achieving a higher cost-efficiency on parallel computers. We insert routines into a program which detect the amount of computational work without using problem-specific parameters and adapt the number of used CPUs at runtime under given speedup/efficiency constraints.

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.
