Multi‐point‐line Grounding Fault Section Identification in Urban Distribution Networks by Using Coordinated Multi‐Source Data

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission &Distribution, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
A multi‐source data collaborative fault section identification method for high fault‐tolerant distribution networks is proposed. The method constructs a robust mixed‐integer linear programming cooperative model by integrating zero‐sequence current direction features and fault indicator alarm signals.

Enhanced Linear Quadratic Regulator‐Based Strategy for Seamless Transition Between Microgrid Operation Modes

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper presents an LQR‐based strategy for seamless transition between grid‐forming and grid‐following inverters in microgrids. The proposed design integrates the comprehensive control loops of the grid‐forming and grid‐following inverters. A systematic, gradient‐based optimization framework is used for selecting the weighting matrices.

Fusion Pores as Regulators of Quantal Size and Cellular Physiology

open access: yesBioEssays, Volume 47, Issue 11, November 2025.
During regulated exocytosis, membrane fusion regulatory factors act directly on SNAREs and membrane lipids to control fusion pore dynamics. This, in turn, leads to a differential amount of cargo release (referred to in this article as “quantal size”) across various cell types, thereby triggering distinct physiological cues.

Research on Adaptive Reclosing Discriminant Method Based on LMD Sample Entropy

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2020
Abstract Based on the adaptive time-frequency analysis characteristics of local mean decomposition and the nonlinear quantization ability of sample entropy, an adaptive reclosing discriminant method based on LMD sample entropy is proposed.

Unlocking the Architecture and Component Distribution of Bioengineered and Derived Colloidal Structures from Blood with Neutron Scattering

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 6, Issue 11, November 2025.
Blood‐ and red blood cell (RBC)‐derived colloids are promising biomedical materials but are structurally complex. This work demonstrates how small‐ and ultra‐small‐angle neutron scattering (SANS and USANS) with contrast variation reveal the micro/nanoarchitectures of RBC ghosts, extracellular vesicles (EVs), and plasma proteins.

Molecular Basis for Vacuolar Iron Transport by OsVIT2, a Target for Iron Biofortification in Rice

open access: yesProteins: Structure, Function, and Bioinformatics, Volume 93, Issue 10, Page 1717-1731, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Iron deficiency is the prevalent and most widespread nutritional shortfall for humans, affecting over 30% of the global population and leading to anemia, particularly among preschool‐aged children and pregnant women in developing countries. Simultaneously, while half of the world's population depends on rice (Oryza sativa L.) as a staple food,
