Management of Primary Refractory Diffuse Large B‐Cell Lymphoma in Patients Unsuitable for CAR T‐Cell Therapy

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Haematology, Volume 116, Issue 6, Page 771-784, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Primary refractory Diffuse Large B‐Cell Lymphoma is associated with poor outcomes and limited responsiveness to conventional salvage therapies. Although CAR T‐cell therapy represents the standard of care in this setting, a substantial proportion of patients cannot receive it despite meeting disease‐related criteria. In this review, “unsuitable”

How Regulation and Global Standing Shape Stock Market Co‐Movements: A G20 Panel Study

open access: yesInternational Review of Finance, Volume 26, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Motivated by post‐2020 fragmentation and underexplored institutional‐geopolitical drivers, we examine how regulatory quality (RQ) and global power (GP) shape stock‐market co‐movements across 17 G20 economies. We estimate time‐varying correlations via ADCC‐GARCH, construct a scaled correlation index, and apply panel ARDL. We find that higher RQ

Combining antibody conjugates with cytotoxic and immune‐stimulating payloads maximizes anti‐cancer activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 5, Page 1220-1236, May 2026.
Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Engineering tandem VHHs to target different epitopes to enhance antibody‐dependent cell‐mediated cytotoxicity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, Volume 16, Issue 5, Page 1030-1043, May 2026.
Tandem VHH targeting distinct EGFR epitopes were engineered into a monovalent bispecific antibody (7D12‐EGA1‐Fc) with more potent ADCC without increasing affinity to EGFR. Structural modeling of 7D12‐EGA1‐Fc showed cross‐linking of separate EGFR domains to enhance CD16a engagement on NK cells.

Integration Analysis of Bayesian and Machine Learning for Heterogeneity, Biomarkers, and Optimal Combination Regimens of Pucotenlimab in Solid Tumors

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT The efficacy of PD‐1 inhibitor pucotenlimab (HX008) in solid tumors exhibits heterogeneity. This study integrated data from 6 clinical trials (covering gastric/gastroesophageal junction cancer, triple‐negative breast cancer, melanoma, and dMMR/MSI‐H solid tumors) using Bayesian meta‐analysis, machine learning (optimal XGBoost AUC = 0.86), and ...

Different Immune Cells Modified With Chimeric Antigen Receptors Are Being Applied to Ovarian Cancer: Which Is the Most Effective?

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Ovarian Cancer (OC), the deadliest gynecological malignancy, poses a major therapeutic challenge in advanced stages owing to its high recurrence rate and metastatic potential. In this regard, it is noteworthy that immunotherapy has recently gained significant attention in OC treatment, a phenomenon attributable to notable advances in over‐the ...

Repurpose an FDA‐Approved Antibody Using DARPin‐Scaffolded Bridge Protein

open access: yesChemistry–Methods, Volume 6, Issue 5, May 2026.
The cell line and scalable upstream/downstream process development needed for every new monoclonal antibody are both highly expensive and time‐consuming, significantly increasing the cost of new antibody therapeutics. By contrast, the production of many synthetic binders can be accomplished rapidly and with lower production costs.

Anti-CD137 monoclonal antibody enhances trastuzumab-induced, natural killer cell-mediated cytotoxicity against pancreatic cancer cell lines with low human epidermal growth factor-like receptor 2 expression.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2018
Because human epidermal growth factor-like receptor (HER) 2 is expressed on the surface of human pancreatic carcinoma cells to varying degrees, trastuzumab, an anti-HER2 monoclonal antibody (mAb), is expected to exert antibody-dependent, natural killer ...

Enhanced Fc and complement activity of Fc‐modified avelumab boosts anti‐tumor activity but promotes NK cell fratricide

open access: yesClinical &Translational Immunology, Volume 15, Issue 5, 2026.
Abstract Objectives The anti‐PD‐L1 antibody avelumab has demonstrated efficacy across multiple cancer types. Avelumab primarily blocks the PD‐1/L1 immune checkpoint, while inducing antibody‐dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) from CD16a+ NK cells.
