Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Adequacy for Algebraic Effects [PDF]
Moggi proposed a monadic account of computational effects. He also presented the computational λ-calculus, λc, a core call-by-value functional programming language for effects; the effects are obtained by adding appropriate operations. The question arises as to whether one can give a corresponding treatment of operational semantics.

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Inside and outside culture. Who needs “politeness”?
Pragmatic studies on „politeness” limit significantly the possibilities of description of actual situations of communication. It is mainly because of the fact that a common-sense oriented normative notion of „politeness” makes it impossible to notice ...
