Coronary Microvascular Dysfunction: Epidemiology, Pathophysiology, Diagnosis, and Treatment

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 8, August 2026.
This visual summary illustrates the key aspects of coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) in angina with nonobstructive coronary artery disease (NOCAD), including epidemiology, pathophysiology (microvascular remodeling and endothelial dysfunction), the protective NRG‐1/ErbB signaling pathway, diagnostic methods, and both Western and traditional ...

AP‐1B Controls Several Levels of Cell Proliferation and Differentiation in Mouse Enteroids

open access: yesBiology of the Cell, Volume 118, Issue 8, August 2026.
We show that in mouse intestinal organoids, AP‐1B is implicated in apical polarity, differentiation in the secretory lineage and proliferation. In particular, we propose that proliferation is controlled by AP‐1B via the mTOR and YAP pathways. Arrows show the functional links that were elucidated in this study, and dotted lines show putative downstream ...

Epithelial YPEL3 Modulates CD8+ T‐Cell Infiltration and Tumor Progression Through CREB1–CXCL16 Signaling in HNSCC

open access: yesCancer Science, Volume 117, Issue 8, Page 2132-2151, August 2026.
YPEL3 functions as a tumor suppressor in HNSCC by inhibiting tumor progression and promoting apoptosis. Mechanistically, it enhances epithelial–immune crosstalk through the CREB1‐mediated CXCL16–CXCR6 axis, facilitating CD8+ T‐cell infiltration and highlighting its potential as a prognostic biomarker and immunotherapy target.

Application of Systems Genetics to Investigate Molecular Pathology of Early‐Onset Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesChemical Biology &Drug Design, Volume 108, Issue 2, August 2026.
Early‐onset colorectal cancer (EOCRC) presents a complex molecular landscape that requires integrated multi‐omics approaches. This article reviews current applications of systems genetics in EOCRC research and provides a step‐by‐step protocol for network‐based analyses featuring PIK3CA to demonstrate practical application for researchers of all levels.

Establishment of Human Formative Pluripotent Stem Cell‐Like Cells Exhibiting Amniotic Differentiation Potentials

open access: yesCell Proliferation, Volume 59, Issue 8, August 2026.
The hfPSC‐LCs could be established from naïve hESCs, conventional hESCs, hiPSCs, and human blastocysts. The hfPSC‐LCs hold robust capacity for three germ layers, hPGCLCs, and hALPCs. ABSTRACT Human embryos undergo pivotal morphogenetic remodelling shortly after implantation. The understanding of this crucial stage is severely impeded by the scarcity of
