SOAT1 Activates NLRP3 Inflammasome to Promote Cancer‐Related Lymphangiogenesis and Metastasis via IL‐1β/IL‐1R‐1 Axis in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Carcinogenesis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is a prevalent type of cancer in the head and neck region, significantly impacting patient survival rates and quality of life. Lymph node (LN) metastasis is a lead contributor to the poor prognosis associated with OSCC.

Systematic Investigation of Tumor Microenvironment and Antitumor Immunity With IOBR

open access: yesMed Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The tumor microenvironment (TME) is a critical factor in antitumor immunity and treatment outcome in cancer therapy. We have developed an analysis tool called the immuno‐oncology biological research (IOBR) to investigate the TME and its role in antitumor immunity.

Obesity Parameters in Women Is Associated With AMY1 Gene Copy Number, Nesfatin‐1 Level, and Dietary Intake: A Case‐Control Study

open access: yesMolecular Nutrition &Food Research, EarlyView.
This study investigates the association between AMY1 gene copy number, Nesfatin‐1 levels, and dietary intake in women. Findings indicate that a lower AMY1 gene copy number and higher Nesfatin‐1 levels are linked to increased dietary intake, higher energy and fat consumption, and an elevated BMI.

Obesity, White Adipose Tissue, and Adipokines Signaling in Male Reproduction

open access: yesMolecular Nutrition &Food Research, EarlyView.
Role of adipokines in the hypothalamic‐pituitary‐gonadal axis (HPG) during obesity. Obesity induces structural and functional changes in WAT, with a consequent imbalance in the production and secretion of adipokines. While the adipokines adiponectin and omentin‐1 are downregulated, the adipokines leptin, resistin, vifastin, apelin, and chemerin are ...
