Design, Synthesis, and Evaluation of New Polyhydroxylated Bis‐Chalcones as Potential COX‐2 Selective Inhibitors

open access: yesChemMedChem, Volume 21, Issue 8, 28 April 2026.
Novel polyhydroxylated bis‐chalcones were successfully synthesized and demonstrated COX‐2 selective inhibition. The most potent and selective inhibitor exhibited a mixed‐type inhibition mechanism with COX‐2. Its additional bulk preferentially blocked the access to the active pocket of COX‐1 rather than COX‐2. Selective inhibition of COX‐2 is considered

Flavonoid Oxime Carbamate Derivatives: Reversal of Multidrug Resistance in Cancer Cells

open access: yesChemMedChem, Volume 21, Issue 7, 14 April 2026.
A set of 23 new flavonoid oxime carbamates was synthesized and evaluated as multidrug resistance (MDR) reversers in ABCB1‐transfected mouse lymphoma cells. All derivatives strongly inhibited P‐glycoprotein (P‐gp) efflux activity in a transport assay, while most selected compounds behaved as ATPase inhibitors. In drug combination assays, they interacted

Integrating Human Intestinal Organoids into FDA's New Approach Methodologies for Drug Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 20, 9 April 2026.
Illustration summarizes how human intestinal organoids (HIOs) are becoming transformative in preclinical research. Preclinical drug discovery pipelines often rely on animal models for ADMET studies, even though interspecies ADME gaps, poor external validity, and high attrition rates are common.

EQUIPMENT WITH HYDROSTATIC AMPLIFIER MODELED 3D

open access: yesJournal of Industrial Design and Engineering Graphics, 2013
The equipment with hydrostatic amplifier is a new constructive solution modeled 3D using NX 7.5 software. Hydraulic equipment allows the amplification of a constant torque of a DC electric motor of low power at a variable speed.

Elementary Games and Games Whose Correlated Equilibrium Polytope Has Full Dimension [PDF]

open access: yes
Un jeu est élémentaire s'il admet un équilibre corrélé strict à support plein. Un jeu est plein si le polytope de distributions d'équilibres corrélés à dimension pleine. Tout jeu élémentaire est plein.

The Theoretical Substantiation of the Targeted Search for New DPP4 Inhibitors. Computational Studies of Potential Candidates

open access: yesЖурнал органічної та фармацевтичної хімії
Growing evidence suggests that dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP4) inhibitors, in addition to their role in improving glycemic control, help to reduce endothelial dysfunction and have hypolipidemic, anti-atherosclerotic, antitumor, antiviral, and neurotropic ...
