ADP

ACM SIGMETRICS Performance Evaluation Review, 2012
Performance characterization of applications' hardware behavior is essential for making the best use of available hardware resources. Modern architectures offer access to many hardware events that are capable of providing information to reveal architectural performance bottlenecks throughout the core and memory hierarchy.

ADP-Ribosylation Reactions

1982
Publisher Summary ADP-ribosylation involves a group of posttranslational modifications of proteins in which the ADP-ribose moiety of NAD is transferred to various protein acceptors. The ADP-ribose transferred remains monomeric or is polymerized, which allows the classification of mono(ADP-ribosyl)ation and poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation.

The binding of ADP to myosin

Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - Bioenergetics, 1969
Abstract The binding of [ 14 C]ADP to myosin (EC 3.6.1.3) was measured by equilibrium dialysis and centrifugation methods. At low ionic strength (0.05) the ADP binding was largely independent of free Mg 2+ concentration in the range of 1 nM–1 mM.

Characterisation of ADP Receptors

1985
Adenosine 5′-diphosphate (ADP) stimulates platelets to change shape, to develop an adhesiveness that is associated with the exposure of receptors for fibrinogen and, in the presence of sufficient calcium, to aggregate and release the contents of storage granules.

ADP-ribosylarginine hydrolases

Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry, 1994
ADP-ribosylation is a reversible post-translational modification of proteins involving the addition of the ADP-ribose moiety of NAD to an acceptor protein or amino acid. NAD:arginine ADP-ribosyltransferase, purified from numerous animal tissues, catalyzes the transfer of ADP-ribose to an arginine residue in proteins.

Cyclic ADP-ribose

Cellular Signalling, 1999
The Ca2+-mobilizing natural compound cyclic ADP-ribose was discovered in sea urchin egg homogenates. Recently the involvement of cyclic ADP-ribose in Ca2+ signaling has been demonstrated in diverse biological systems spanning protozoa, plants, and cells from invertebrate, mammalian, and human sources.

ADP-ribosylation reactions

Biochimie, 1995
ADP-ribosylation reactions have been studied now for over 30 years. They came to light originally in studies of some bacterial toxins, which turned out to be mono-ADP-ribosyl transferases. Subsequently, endogenous mono-ADP-ribosyltransferases were discovered.

Activation of toxin ADP-ribosyltransferases by eukaryotic ADP-ribosylation factors

Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry, 1999
ADP-ribosylation factors (ARFs) are members of a multigene family of 20-kDa guanine nucleotide-binding proteins that are regulatory components in several pathways of intracellular vesicular trafficking. The relatively small (approximately 180-amino acids) ARF proteins interact with a variety of molecules (in addition to GTP/GDP, of course).

EDP + ADP = IDP
