Platelet ADP Receptors and their Antagonists
Mini-Reviews in Medicinal Chemistry, 2003ADP plays a crucial role in haemostasis and thrombosis and its receptors are potential target for antithrombotic drugs. The knowledge of the ADP-receptors has been amplified by recent discoveries. This review highlights the ADP-receptors models and their antagonists described in the recent literature, mainly the thienopyridine derivatives.

Mono-ADP-Ribosylation Catalyzed by Arginine-Specific ADP-Ribosyltransferases
2018Methods are described for determination of arginine-specific mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase activity of purified proteins and intact cells by monitoring the transfer of ADP-ribose from NAD+ to a model substrate, e.g., arginine, agmatine, and peptide (human neutrophil peptide-1 [HNP1]), and for the nonenzymatic hydrolysis of ADP-ribose-arginine to ...

Activation of Toxin ADP-Ribosyltransferases by the Family of ADP-Ribosylation Factors
1997ADP-ribosylation factors or ARFs are 20-kDa guanine nucleotide-binding proteins, initially identified as stimulators of cholera toxin-catalyzed ADP-ribosylation of Gs alpha. We now know that ARFs play a critical role in many vesicular trafficking events and ARF activation of a membrane-associated phospholipase D (PLD) has been recognized. ARF is active

Enhancement by ADP of Thrombin-induced Aggregation in ADP-refractory Platelets
Thrombosis and Haemostasis, 1973SummaryIn ADP-refractory rat platelets, thrombin-induced aggregation is enhanced in the presence of ADP and inhibited in the absence of ADP. Two mechanisms are proposed for thrombin-induced platelet aggregation: one through ADP release which may become refractory, and a second mechanism in which thrombin acts synergistieally with ADP.

The contents of adp systems work in administrative ADP applications
BIT, 1965An outline of the different phases in ADP work is presented. A detailed account is given of the purpose, contents, and results of each phase, and all inter-relations are illustrated in a flow chart.
