Diagnostic relevance of urinary steroid profiles on ovarian granulosa cell tumors: two case reports

open access: yesJournal of Medical Case Reports, 2017
Background Granulosa cell tumor of the ovary is the most frequent sex cord stromal tumor and represents 2 to 5% of all primary ovarian cancers. Ovarian granulosa cell tumor is a malignant tumor with slow progression and in some cases this tumor is ...

Serum anti-Müllerian hormone concentrations before and after treatment of an ovarian granulosa cell tumour in a cat [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Case summary A 15-year-old female cat was presented for investigation of progressive behavioural changes, polyuria, polydipsia and periuria. An ovarian granulosa cell tumour was identified and the cat underwent therapeutic ovariohysterectomy (OHE).

Prognostic factors in adult granulosa cell tumor of the ovary [PDF]

open access: yesCancer, 1997
The clinical course of adult granulosa cell tumor of the ovary is characterized by indolent growth tending toward late recurrence. A variety of clinical and pathologic parameters have previously been evaluated for prognostication with inconclusive results. The clinical records and tumor sections of 70 patients with adult granulosa cell tumors of the ...

A Biomarker‐Driven Ovary–Endometrium Organ‐on‐a‐Chip Mimicking 3D Multicellular Complexity and Menstrual Cyclicity for Predicting Reproductive Toxicity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present a dual‐organ, biomarker‐integrated ovaryendometrium organ‐on‐a‐chip that recapitulates 3D tissue complexity, menstrual cycle dynamics, and hormonal crosstalk. This platform enables real‐time, cell‐typespecific fluorescent readouts of reproductive toxicity using ANGPTL4 and SERPINB2 as early‐response reporters.

GPCRs in CAR‐T Cell Immunotherapy: Expanding the Target Landscape and Enhancing Therapeutic Efficacy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapy faces dual challenges of target scarcity and an immunosuppressive microenvironment in solid tumors. This review highlights how G protein‐coupled receptors can serve as both novel targets to expand the therapeutic scope and functional modules to enhance CAR‐T cell efficacy.

Role of nerve growth factor and its TRKA receptor in normal ovarian and epithelial ovarian cancer angiogenesis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In normal ovarian function a controlled angiogenesis is essential. Several growth factors are involved in this process, such as the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and nerve growth factor (NGF). The angiogenesis process in the normal ovary is a
