Combining Phytochemical and Computational Approach on Citrus hystrix DC. (Kaffir Lime) Peel Extract: Anti‐Diabetic and Anti‐Inflammatory Activities

Citrus hystrix DC. (kaffir lime) peel was dried and subjected to ethanolic extract. The GC‐MS analysis showed the presence of significant phyto‐ingredients. Pharmacokinetic and ADMET filters were applied to major constituents, and molecular docking, Gene Ontology (GO), and KEGG pathway enrichment analyses on mechanistic plausibility were also performed.

Biochemical Modulation of Fe2O3/CuFe2O4 Nanocomposite via Two‐Stage Calcination: Antimicrobial Efficacy and In Vivo Toxicological Profiling

Fe2O3/CuFe2O4 nanocomposites with wide‐spectrum antimicrobial activity were fabricated using a two‐step calcination method. The nanocomposites strongly inhibit both Gram‐positive and Gram‐negative bacteria, suppress biofilm formation, and show antifungal activity.

The Olive Oil Mill as Circular Hub

Olive oil production generates large amounts of by‐products at every stage of the production process. The olive mill can be considered a circular hub, where such by‐products are valorized through a cascade approach that first recovers valuable compounds and then converts the remaining biomass into renewable energy.
