Feasibility of an Acoustophoresis-based System for a High-Throughput Cell Washing: Application to Bioproduction [PDF]
Background These last decades have seen the emergence and development of cell-based therapies, notably those based on mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs). The advancement of these promising treatments requires increasing the throughput of processed cell for industrialization in order to reduce production costs.

Heterologous carriers in the anamnestic antihapten response [PDF]
Anamnestic antihapten responses were obtained to trinitrophenyl (TNP) when rabbits sensitized to trinitrophenyl-hemocyanin (TNP-KLH) were challenged with TNP-heterologous protein conjugates.

Cooking effects on iron and proteins content of beans (Phaseolus Vulgaris L.) by GF AAS and MALDI-TOF MS [PDF]
The effects of domestic cooking on proteins, organic compounds and Fe distribution in beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) were investigated. Sequential extraction with different extractant solutions (mixture of methanol and chloroform 1:2 v/v, water, 0.5 mol L-

Elucidation of binding mechanism of hydroxyurea on serum albumins by different spectroscopic studies
ObjectivesThe interaction of hydroxyurea (HU) with serum albumins (SAs) has not been investigated so far. However, it necessitates the interaction study of HU with SAs in phosphate buffer of pH 7.4.MethodsThe binding of HU on bovine serum albumin (BSA ...

Interaction of Tannin with Bovine Serum Albumin by Fluorescence Spectrometry [PDF]
Interaction between tannin and bovine serum albumin (BSA) was examined by the fluorescent quenching. The process of elimination between BSA and tannin was the one of a stationary state, and the coupling coefficient was one. The working strength between the tannin and the beef serum was hydrophobic one.

New mathematical model for fluid-glucose-albumin transport in peritoneal dialysis [PDF]
A mathematical model for fluid transport in peritoneal dialysis is constructed. The model is based on a three-component nonlinear system of two-dimensional partial differential equations for fluid, glucose and albumin transport with the relevant boundary and initial conditions. Non-constant steady-state solutions of the model are studied.
